Many of the more than 200 junta troops captured on Wednesday at Shan State outpost after brief battle were medics, firemen and factory workers.

The Irrawaddy's latest roundup of resistance attacks includes incidents in Shan and Rakhine states and Bago, Magwe and Sagaing regions.
