Kale University rector Dr Yaw Han Htun has denied junta claims that he was abducted by anti-regime forces along with numerous students and staff. 
A total of 397 civil society organizations have asked the United Nations Security Council to oppose the junta's Conscription Law.
Also this week, the regime met defeat with martial law, launched conscription propaganda, and went recruiting in universities.
